Mr. Myers here, with a wild idea…
Instead of focusing all of our effort on damage control, why not stop the damage AT ITS SOURCE?
Others have developed great programs to help the victims of bullying deal with the situation and recover from the damage done by the Bully. Some have even come up with great ways to arm potential victims with tools and techniques to defend themselves from the Bully.
But, has anyone looked to the source of the problem, the Bully, to help them learn a better way to behave and interact with others? I have looked and found very little in the way of programs, tools, or methods for helping the Bully change their ways. So I decided to go in search of help from experts and develop a program that does just that – one that will REHABILITATE THE BULLY!
This blog will be my attempt, poor though it may be, to document the process of developing a program that will make a Bully into a functioning, productive, positive member of thier community.
This is my attempt to make the “No Child Left Behind” policy now being used in schools something that really has meaning and positive impact in our society.
